About Therapy
Counselling offers a safe space in which you can share your difficulties, concerns or anything that matters to you. You and your therapist willl explore your situation to gain a better insight and understanding of what you are going through. Your therapist will help you to find ways of working through difficulties or to overcome any specific issues.
About the sessions
The first session is an opportunity to get to know your therapist and their way of working. Both of you can then discuss whether you could work well together.
Subsequent sessions are usually weekly and last for 50 minutes (sometimes longer for relationship counselling). The number of sessions you will need varies and can be discussed during your first session.
